Raising the bar day after day, powerlifting standout Tiffany Chapon is known for some incredible lifts. In a recent post published on Instagram, Tiffany set another unofficial record after showing off a mammoth 435 kg total raw during her training session.
French powerlifter Chapon holds the distinction of having earned the squat and total world records in the 47 kg weight class during her time in strength sports. As a world-class powerlifter, Tiffany is known for some amazing feats of strength. Even in training, Chapon pushes the limits, and illustrated as much with her recent 352.7 lb raw squat, totaling three times her competition bodyweight.
Tiffany is setting new personal records on a near daily basis according to her social media presence. Back in March, Tiffany dropped jaws after scoring the all-time heaviest raw total of 418 kg (921.5 lbs) at the 2022 French Nationals. While it might not be within the realms of a sanctioned competition, Tiffany is back in training once again and sharing an unofficial world record in her 47 kg weight class.
Tiffany shared the unofficial record of 435 kg total on her Instagram page Sunday.
Tiffany Chapon’s Raw Training Lifts

- Bench Press – 100 kg (220.5 lbs) – Unofficial World Record
- Deadlift -170 kg (374.8 lbs)
- Total – 435 kg (959 lbs) – Unofficial World Record
“Hype is real ❤️🔥
8 weeks ouf from Worlds championship 😈” Tiffany Chopan shared.
Before this post, Tiffany shared a lift of 425 kg (937 lbs) total in a recent training session. Given her ability to steadily improve on lifts, Tiffany continues to push the goal post down further and further. Chapon’s current world record total of 418 kg has been eclipsed in training, and she is determined to raise the bar even higher when she’s back in competition.
Gleefully jumping up in joy after accomplishing the feat of strength, it’s clear this lift meant a lot to Tiffany. Her bench press lift is 4.5 kg heavier than current world record-holder Hanna Rantala in the 47 kg weight class. Tiffany has shown that she’s more than capable of lifting more than her current squat world record of 155 kg (424.4 lbs) in training.
However, Tiffany’s recent 374.8 lb deadlift is still a far cry from challenging Heather Connor‘s current all-time world record of 192.5 kg (424.4 lbs). Though, with how quickly Tiffany is adding weight in training, it’s safe to say she’s well on her way to toppling a few more records in due time. Her next show will take place from June 6-12, in Sun City, Africa at the 2022 IPF World Classic Open Championships.
Raising the bar yet again, Tiffany is making the most out of her training sessions. After setting the unofficial world record with a 435 kg total, Chapon is expected to have an impactful season in the sport this year.
