As one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has a jam-packed schedule but always finds time to get a workout in at the gym. In a recent post made on Instagram, The Rock shared an intense leg workout after a “very long work week.”

The WWE superstar-turned-actor boasts one of the best physiques in the film industry. Although he always had a massive frame since his pro wrestling days, Johnson elevated his physique to the next level in the entertainment industry. The Rock is an inspiration to his 335 million followers on Instagram and always encourages them to be the hardest worker in the room.

Johnson packed on the pounds in preparation for his lead role in the upcoming DC movie, Black Adam. While he is renowned for his strict work ethic and dedication, The Rock is also notoriously famous for his epic cheat meals. He recently shared a monstrous cheat meal of pancakes to satisfy his sweet tooth.

‘The Rock’ regularly gives insight into his training methods, usually filmed at his home gym called ‘Iron Paradise.’ With such a busy schedule, it can be hard for the 50-year-old to stick to his exhaustive training regimen. He pumps himself up for late-night sessions by listening to C.T. Fletcher’s motivational speech “Obsession.”

In a recent post made on Instagram, The Rock shared a grueling leg workout that he used to decompress after a busy week of work.

“Got a late one in at the sanctuary tonight – Sunday wheels. Very long work week, but very productive and moved a lot of business forward – man I needed this intense session to decompress. ”

  • Vertical leg press
  • Chain lunges
  • Finishing with Pit Shark sumo squats with 3-second negatives.

Pit Shark is a belt squat machine that maximizes time under tension and minimizes joint and back strain. Rock likes to use the sumo stance, which emphasizes the glutes.
