Rhianon Lovelace is known as one of the greatest record-breakers in history, but she has outdone herself this time. Lovelace recently managed to set a new World Record in the 64-kilogram weight class for the Axle Press. She accomplished this feat by lifting and locking out an incredible 101 kilograms (222.7 pounds) without any visible signs of struggle whatsoever.

The impressive feat began with Rhianon Lovelace hoisting the axle from the floor and resting it on her lifting belt. Taking a quick breath, she then performed a clean motion and moved the barbell into the proper position for a shoulder press. She then locked out the weight over her head with immaculate form in the very next second.

The previous u64KG World Record stood at 98 kilograms (216.1 pounds), which belonged to Deanna Flores. So, Rhianon managed to improve it by a significant margin.

Fitness Volt spoke with Rhianon Lovelace, who revealed the details of her record-breaking performance at the 2023 Kaos New Year Push Pull event. According to Lovelace, her bodyweight at the time of setting the Axle Press World Record was 63.7 kilograms (140.4 pounds).

“3 Weeks into 2023 and we’re already one WR in.
Big plans this year.
Just the Beginning 🔥🔥🔥”

Rhianon Lovelace used a variety of tools to protect her joints when lifting. She used wrist wraps, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, and a lifting belt to offer more support. Professional strength athletes frequently engage in this practice because it lowers their risk of injury and enables them to lift bigger loads.

Rhianon Lovelace’s 101-kilogram (222.7-pound) Axle Press World Record has already impressed some figures in the sport. One of those is the 2x U80KG World’s Strongest Man, Tommy Lynn Lovell, who wrote.

“Oh my god was that as easy as it looked????”

However, the reason why Rhianon Lovelace made this lift look so easy is because she has a lot of experience with the axle barbell from before. In fact, Lovelace set a 261.5-kilogram (576.5-pound) Axle Deadlift World Record back in September as well.

Breaking records for Rhianon Lovelace seems to be a fairly normal occasion, since she does it very often. Another notable World Record that she holds is the Standard Deadlift, having locked out 282.5 kilograms (622.8 pounds) at the 2022 Berkshire’s Strongest. In addition, Lovelace is now aiming for a 300-kilogram (661.4-pound) deadlift, which would be indescribably impressive.

Rhianon Lovelace is also the reigning and two-time U64KG World’s Strongest Woman, as well as the 4x U64KG Britain’s Strongest Woman. So, it is evident that she has too many achievements to count. However, her recent 101-kilogram (222.7-pound) Axle Press World Record is definitely one of the standout ones. If this is only the beginning, as she stated, then 2023 will be an extremely special year for Lovelace and the sport of Strongwoman.
