Bodybuilder Phil Heath reached the top of the sport with one of the freakiest physiques of all time. In a recent video posted on Instagram, Heath looks absolutely massive while crushing a grueling workout.

Phil Heath made a name for himself as a Men’s Open competitor in the late 2000s and 2010s. He was renowned for his muscle density and fullness. During his prime, Heath went up against big names like four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, the late Shawn Rhoden, and contender Kai Greene. Heath won his maiden Sandow trophy at the 2011 Mr. Olympia. Once he took the throne, there was no stopping him as he compiled seven consecutive victories from 2011-2017.

Heath has become a revered analyst since retirement and regularly lends his voice to the hot topics of the game. As someone who’s done it all, he has a keen eye for talent. He backed Hadi Choopan to defeat former two-time Mr. Olympia Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay before the event. His predictions came true as Choopan won the 2022 Mr. Olympia and Walker placed third behind runner-up Derek Lunsford.

While he no longer competes, ’The Gift’ continues to work out and maintains an impressive build. Heath confirmed his intentions to possibly make a comeback to bodybuilding earlier this year. He planned to test himself out for three months before making the call.

‘The Gift’ opened up on his use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) last month. He said he started out by maximizing his ‘genetic potential’ and scored wins over participants who used gear. He started steroids once he felt he reached his natural peak.

A workout update of Heath from bodybuilder Regan Grimes added fuel to the fire about his potential return. Grimes joked Heath was preparing for the upcoming 2023 Arnold Classic. Based on Heath’s massive frame, fans were convinced he could compete in the near future. Heath detailed the morning routine he utilized to recover from his hernia surgery last month. He boasted a tighter midsection and credited cold plunges for helping as well.

Phil Heath shows off jacked physique in a recent update – Comeback on the table?

In a recent Instagram post, Phil Heath looks huge while performing an arms training session, sparking rumors of his potential return.

Phil Heath on finding the reason to fight, a journey of mind, muscle, and spirit:

I will always have a reason to fight.

One of the things which I had to fight throughout my life was my own reflection in the mirror. I wasn’t staring into the mirrors in admiration of my hard work, but the work which is left to be done. Not just in my muscles but more importantly in my mind and spirit.

The continuous tactical minefield of the mind will always be a journey as it truly leads me to many new horizons where my goals exist. My reason to fight will be my future version of self that achieves everything I’ve put my heart and soul into.

I encourage you all to search deep within what drives you and what you’re willing to scratch, claw and fight for. You’re already in the game, so why not play your heart out! Ya just might surprise yourself along the way.

Love to All!!!

As of late, Phil Heath shared a motivational message about his struggle with body dysmorphia. While it may come as a surprise to some, Heath suffered from bigorexia for over two decades. He called on his fans to practice self-love to overcome the issue.
