Brian Johnson AKA ‘Liver King‘ has become a social media phenomenon due to his ancestral way of living, ripped physique, and commitment to eating raw organ meat. After the popular podcast host Joe Rogan suggested he was ‘full of steroids’, Liver King responded to the accusation and cleared the air.

Liver King lives by the nine ancestral tenets and believes that humans would live healthier and more fulfilling lives by following in his footsteps. As he rose in prominence, Liver King has highlighted the value of touching the earth and living life outdoors, but more importantly, advocates for a raw organ meat diet similar to our ancestors. An important aspect of this diet is to abstain from consuming processed foods. The hunter-gatherer mentality is paramount to the ancestral way of living and Johnson credits this unique lifestyle for his incredible physique.

Johnson claims that he has built his physique naturally by consuming raw organ meat. However, UFC color analyst and podcast host Joe Rogan isn’t sold on Liver King‘s natty status. Rogan suggests that Johnson’s lifestyle is a gimmick and mentioned that he believes Liver King has ”an ass filled with steroids”. Rogan has questioned the validity of the diet, and casted doubt on some of the nutritional benefits from consuming raw meat.

‘Liver King’ Grateful for Joe Rogan’s Criticism

Rogan explained that he isn’t sold on the benefits of eating raw meat. He underlined the value of consuming cooked meat because it becomes more bioavailable. While the most popular podcast host in the world isn’t convinced of the lifestyle, ‘Liver King’ is grateful for his opinion on the matter, nonetheless.

“I don’t touch the stuff,” adding that he’s “grateful to Joe Rogan for bringing me into his ecosystem” and that he’d love to go on the podcast someday. Brian Johnson said.

“Why eat vegetables when you can eat testicles?” Live King added. “Vegetables don’t have the raw material required to produce a healthy set of testicles,” he explained. “Testicles do have everything required to produce and support and strengthen them.”

Brian Johnson and his ‘Liver King’ ancestral lifestyle continues to grow in popularity. His outlandish personality and adherence to a strict raw meat diet has piqued the interest of many people across the fitness world. In fact, the fitness and comedy duo Buttery Bros recently tried their best to replicate a day in the life as Brian Johnson AKA Liver King. Heber Cannon and Marston Sawyers ate raw meat and made a video where they practiced all nine ancestral tenets.

Johnson has become the subject of criticism because his wife and kids are also living by the nine tenets of ancestral living. From exercising like soldiers preparing for war, eating liver, to sleeping on wooden slats, his family are practicing the same values that Johnson preaches about on a daily basis. According to Johnson, life has become too easy and accessible, stressing that “hard times make strong men, and there’s no requirement for hard times anymore,”.

Despite Johnson’s ongoing dedication, Joe Rogan isn’t convinced that Johnson is natural or operating his life strictly in accordance with the nine ancestral tenets. After hearing Rogan’s criticisms, Liver King expressed interest in coming on the podcast to further the discussion.

Liver king is on a lot of performance enhancing drugs. If you’ve trained for years you know what someone on drugs looks like and this guy is so full of it and it’s another gimmick to make money. Unfortunately the majority of social media dumb dumbs believe what they read because they have no knowledge in any of the areas that they read on when they do have knowledge they know the truth but this guy is on a ton of juice and most likely a fair amount of trenbolone

Haha that’s so ridiculous. If anyone believes that this guy is not on a s**load of roids and other drugs, then I have some swamp land to sell you. There is absolutely no question about it, this guy is on tons of juice and is lying his ass off because he’s making good money pretending to be clean and just eating his gimmick diet. What a joke, he should be ashamed.

Anybody that has lifted weights for any period of time (about 20 years for me) can tell this guy is not natural. Don’t be fooled, either he is full of PEDS or he eats liver that is pumped full of stuff. Don’t be fooled!!

I don’t know why people care so much! Sounds like envy to me! He found a way to make money doing the American Dream and you guys didn’t so you are scorned! I couldn’t care less if he’s on Roids or not, but I still watch some of his stuff because I think as a society we’ve become terrible humans and he’s trying to take us back to our ancestral times and live more like them!

That’s not how our ancestors ate. I guess like 5 million years ago, maybe?

Those of you of whom can’t believe you can look like that without roids should understand there are people that are genetically predisposed and have a mesomorph body type, which is simply muscular and proportioned. I have met several people that have that very similar body types and never touched roids. I have been asked several times whether or not I took roids. I was asked in my teen years if I lifted weights when I had never touched a weight at that point. Apply baby oil and get a nice tan and pump up just before a photo and you’d be amazed at how muscular you can look. roids will determine the size and muscularity but diet plays a very significant role also.

People should be ashamed for judging a man and how he makes a living. Regardless of your opinion of him I’m sure he appreciates your feedback. That is in fact why he creates this content, and it pays his bills. Lol.

His body size and shape is not the issue. The size and pattern of the veins in his arms are the problem. They are a key indicator of PED usage.

It doesn’t matter that he’s on steroids or performance enhancement drugs(which he is). It’s the fact he’s lying about I it. Just imagine if some jack ass said he saw God and built a church based on that. People came and gave money and believed his lies and became part of a congregation. Would anyone be mad that he lied and made you believe things he never saw? Would anyone be made that he never really did what he told his followers to do? I guess he’s no worse than any politician who builds his life on a pile of lies and deceit. It’s not even the money he makes off his lies that irritates me. It’s the how he had a bunch of young nieve kids believing him. Oh and stupid adults that don’t know any better.

My initial thought is that he’s eating raw livers from animals that have been given large amounts of anabolics and their livers are just saturated with drugs. However he does speak of eating testicles and that practice has been seen in n ancient cultures like Greek gladiators who also had amazing physiques long before the advent of steroids. 😂

It impossible to get to that size without steroids. He needs to stop laying and come clean cause it’s not fair to his fans. He is not the only one tho to lie about their use of steroids there are many out there in the fitness industry who do the same to keep their fans buying products, fitness packages and to grow their business.

Lying is immoral. That’s the problem with…lying. He’s telling people that his diet makes him look the way he does, when he is actually on steroids. At least, that’s the belief. That’s why people have a problem with this, to all the people who seem to not understand in the comments.

I don’t know a thing about steroids or testosterone “juicing”, I’ve never spent time in that world, or used those drugs so I can’t speak to that aspect, but some said it had to do with the appearance of the veins? Well, that I know is crap be ause I’m a 49 year old female who strength trains 2-3 times a week (nothing body builder or athlete worthy) and works a hard physical labor job 5 days a week. I’ve always been more muscular than average for a female, maybe because I grew up on a farm doing physical labor all the time. My veins have always stood out ridiculously, have always been large; The phlebotomy love me! After a workout, when I’m pumped, it is particularly evident, you can visibly see every time my heart beats. My 8 year old little girl is already showing similar physical characteristics on her arms and neck especially. So, this guy may be on steroids, I don’t know, but the whole vein appearance statement is utterly false, total BS!

I understand where people are coming from about his look and being so defined and cut. But you never know. There are guys who just have those bodies that look soo much better when they workout. How long has he been living this lifestyle?

Some physiques are achievable naturally; some are not. There’s a little thing called the fat-free mass index. There is no doubt that this guy juices. It is not up for discussion.

How has he cleared the air? Anyone who knows anything about the fitness world knows this man is juicing. Whomever wrote this article should slap themselves for this one statement alone. Cleared the air? Lmaoo. Right.

This is actually what people looked like before grain and bread diets. I’ve seen a very old photos of Aboriginals who ate meat and fish and this is exactly what they looked like ripped, and muscular. Funny people being in denial about modern life, but the truth is whats he’s saying is true steroids or not.

My little brother looks like that, by diet & exercise & mindset. Also, lying or not about his body, the fact is that his products work. They absolutely do. I know someone who, in four months, stopped ALL medications for CYSTIC FIBROSIS, that she had been on her entire life. She was in her 40s which is already exceeding life span for most people with CF (depends on which gene mutation) but she, in her 40s, after stopping the drugs she had no choice but to rely on in order to survive, now feels better than she did as a ten year old. Better than she has ever felt.
If you are commenting negatively, perhaps don’t say anything until you have read the principles he lives by & taken some time to research for yourself. It all makes absolute sense. I do believe we need fruits & vegetables, but even the healthiest eater, incorporating them into their diet, are deficient in many vital nutrients. That is unfortunately not arguable, with soil depletion. & Billy boy tooting around in his plane trying to play God with the sun isn’t making matters any better but that’s a whole notha otha thing. Anyway, these supplements are truly miraculous, for many people. He doesn’t claim you will look like him from taking them, he speaks on their health benefits, which are all backed by FACTS. As well as the testimonials of the many many many people who have been granted a new beginning after incorporating them into their lives. He’s all good in my book.
