Joe Rogan is one of the most revered podcasters on the planet. He can talk about super complex topics without overwhelming his listeners. He routinely deciphers complex subjects like neuroscience, metaphysics, AI, and ‘Everything He Takes’ including TRT and Peptides on his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

However, this time around, Rogan found himself on the other side of the table. The UFC color commentator was a guest on comedian Andrew Schulz’s and Akaash Singh’s podcast “Flagrant 2” when he shared his current supplement stack cycle.

The conversation about gear and Rogan’s juice cycle kicked off when Rogan mentioned “Alpha BRAIN Black Label,” a cognitive function enhancing product by supplement brand ONNIT. Rogan is a co-founder of the company ONNIT, which was sold to Unilever in 2021.

Schulz told Rogan that Singh wanted advice about getting big and chiseled. However, before Rogan could reply, AlexxMedia interrupted with “Joe, what’s everything you take? Everything.”

“The big results come from testosterone replacement [TRT], so there’s that, and then there are peptides that increase your body’s ability to grow hormones like growth hormones and IGF-1 [Insulin-like growth factor 1] and all.”

Before Rogan could elaborate, AlexxMedia heckled, “What peptides?“

“There’s BPC-157, ipamorelin, thymosin. What these things do is they help your body produce the hormones that it should have when you’re younger, and your body works better.”

A few peptides Rogan mentioned might have gone unnoticed as the other guests on the show started mumbling random things all at once.

Promoting Exercise

Rogan didn’t end his monologue by just listing his supplement stack cycle. He outlined the importance of adding exercise to your fitness regime.

“Regular exercise is the biggest thing. If there’s ever one thing that someone can do to stop aging is to lift weights and don’t stop.”

“Don’t [lift weights] for vanity. Do it because you want to keep your tissue. Age is like a little demon that is slowly robbing you of your tissue. Your ability to walk upstairs, your ability to open up jars, your ability to open the car door when it’s frozen,” explained Joe Rogan. “The only way to stave that off is weight lifting.”

“You have to lift heavy things. You don’t want to do anything too heavy where you hurt yourself. But you have to get your body accustomed to this idea that in order to survive it has to lift things, and you need to give that body nutrients.”

The stand-up comic added that you don’t necessarily have to lift weights to stay in shape and build muscles. He proposes performing bodyweight exercises like push-ups, chin-ups, and body squats.

“When I do kettlebells, I don’t do anything heavier than 70 pounds, for the most part. That’s the heaviest shit I ever lift.”

Wrapping Up

Although the conversation about steroids was just a four-minute segment in an almost three-and-a-half-hour-long podcast, Joe Rogan shared more information about the drugs than what most popular bodybuilders do in a lifetime.

However, with the rise in deaths surrounding the sport, the current conservative stance of the industry is changing. We now have bodybuilding legends like Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler and top coaches like Hany Rambod and Charles Glass spreading awareness and calling for drug regulations in bodybuilding.

Rogan speaks without data. His “science” is more of a dangerous opinion. Whether is be about health related issues (ivermectin suggestion) or politics (supporting criminals in our political system, Joe can’t be more damaging to our society.

How would he be better than a freak of BB promoting 10 grams a day?
