Mobile App Developer
(Remote/Anywhere) – As Mobile App Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our mobile app, ensuring the best UI and UX for our users. You will collaborate with the editorial team, product managers, and designers to understand their needs and develop internal services and apps to help improve website/app operations.
Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Work closely with the editorial team to understand their needs
- Develop and maintain our mobile app, ensuring the best UI and UX for our users
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our app
Skills:
- Expertise in iOS and/or Android app development
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Java, Kotlin, or React Native
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them with mobile applications
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Backend/Database knowledge
News Contributor (1)
(Remote/Anywhere) – We are looking for motivated and self-driven freelance writer(s) to produce 2-4 news stories (400-800 words per news) each day in Fitness, CrossFit, Bodybuilding, Strongman and Powerlifting category.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and publish news worthy stories daily
- Plan the weekly content schedule
- Brainstorm and pitch original stories ideas to Editor
- Fitness certification a plus
- On-camera experience a plus
Skills:
- 1-3 years editorial experience
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage your time
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Interest in other social media platforms
- A passion for high-quality digital content
Nutrition/Supplement Editor (1)
(Remote/Anywhere) – We are looking for a Sr. Nutrition Editor to help take Fitness Volt’s fitness content to the next level across all digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and publish feature stories daily
- Plan the weekly content schedule
- Brainstorm and pitch original stories
- Assign stories to both contributors/freelance writers and news staff and see that they’re executed in a timely manner
- Recruit talented writers as needed
- Work hand-in-hand with the video and social teams
- Fitness certification a plus
- On-camera experience a plus
Skills:
- 2-3 years editorial experience
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage your time
- Superior editorial judgment: You know which stories *need* to be covered (and how to do so in a new, interesting way) and which can be skipped
- Meticulous editing skills—the ability to edit for grammar, voice, and flow
- Strong wellness and lifestyle industry contacts
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Interest in other social media platforms

Web Engineer/Developer (1)
(Remote/Anywhere) – We are looking for an experienced web developer to join our growing team!
As a Web Engineer / Developer at FitnessVolt.com you will help deliver the best UI and UX and develop internal services and apps to help and improve website operations.
Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Work closely with the editorial team, product managers and designers to understand the needs
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Skills:
- Expert in WordPress
- Knowledge of Campaign & Funnel systems.
- Strong HTML5, CSS, JavaScript knowledge.
- React / Next.JS knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Backend/Database knowledge is a plus but not required.
