Fan favorite Jeremy Buendia is on the verge of a bodybuilding comeback. In a recent Instagram post, a 210-pound Buendia said he’s currently taking TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) and a few peptides.

From 2014-2017, Jeremy Buendia dominated the Men’s Physique class, having won a total of four Olympia titles. When he returned in 2018 for another victory, his efforts were denied by the former three-time Men’s Physique Olympia Brandon Hendrickson.

Despite his decision to step away from competing, Jeremy has maintained a stellar physique since his last on-stage appearance. Buendia hinted at a potential comeback in 2020, but it never materialized. Last year, those comeback rumors began swirling again. He laid out his ambitions for the future and said he was hunting for a fifth Men’s Physique Olympia title.

To facilitate his return, Buendia announced he would bulk up to a massive 220 pounds. He told fans to expect his ‘biggest and best’ physique in 2023. Given his latest improvements, it appears Buendia is very close to achieving his targeted off-season weight of 220 pounds.

Jeremy Buendia Credits Recent Leanness to IGF-1, LR3, and MK677 Peptides

In addition to his added size, fans were taken aback by Buendia’s conditioning in the recent progress post.

“Gotta show up & work even on the days you don’t want too. 📈

Weight is hovering around 210lbs on TRT & some other peptides like IGF-1 LR3 & Ibutamoren (mk677)
–
I’m surprised I look like this. my diet has been pretty bad the past 4-6 weeks, I definitely attribute the way im looking to @transcendhrt protocol. I don’t think I’d be this lean or full without the IGF + MK677.” Jeremy Buendia wrote.

Jeremy isn’t the only successful bodybuilder taking advantage of peptides. Popular 1990s bodybuilding veteran Rich Gaspari recently broke down which peptides he uses to stave off the aging process. Specifically, Gaspari shared that he started using BPC 157. He added that most new peptides on the market right now are crafted to increase overall growth hormone (GH).

Since confirming his return to the sport, Jeremy has been open with his fans about supplementation and dieting. Last October, the Men’s Physique pro detailed a 4,600-calorie bulking diet. The change in his food intake enabled him to gain a staggering 19 pounds in two weeks.

When Buendia steps back on stage, he’ll have plenty of talent to deal with. In addition to Hendrickson, Buendia will face the newly crowned Men’s Physique Olympia Erin Banks. Banks had an incredible 2022 season, where he accumulated three consecutive victories. He claimed gold at the Arnold Classic and Boston Pro before dethroning Hendrickson for his first Olympia title.

With 2023 goals on the horizon, Buendia is continuing to make improvements for a probable Olympia campaign. If he returns to the Olympia stage this November, Buendia will face his rival, defending champion Erin Banks.
