Andrew Jacked is one of the hottest prospects in Men’s Open bodybuilding at the moment. Ever since he won his pro card at the 2022 Arnold Classic Amateur, Andrew Jacked, whose real name is Chinedu Andrew Obiekea is working towards winning his first-ever Olympia title. Known in the bodybuilding circuit for his astounding symmetry and roundness, Jacked made his pro debut at the 2022 IFBB Texas Pro where he dominated the lineup.

Andrew made his first Mr. Olympia appearance back in 2022 and managed to finish in the top 10. However, weeks following the contest, it was revealed by his then-coach George Farah during The Menace Podcast, that Andrew nearly pulled out of the contest after suffering from Bronchitis and a 102-degree fever. Nevertheless, Jacked decided to push through the adversity under the guidance of Farah and Flex Wheeler and bagged the eighth position.

The next big milestone in Andrew’s career was his participation at the 2023 Arnold Classic. In order to improve his physique further, Jacked joined forces with Chris Aceto, who once trained bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler, and the late Shawn Rhoden’s training Coach Chris ‘Psycho’ Lewis.

Andrew ultimately placed third in the 2023 Arnold Classic, with Samson Dauda coming in at first place, and Nick Walker in second. Fast forward to the present day, Andrew is all set to make a return to the stage almost five months after his last show.

Chris Aceto opens up on the progress Andrew has made

Back in April 2023, Andrew Jacked announced that his next pro appearance would be at the Texas Pro, which will be held in a few days, on August 18th and 19th. The event is scheduled to take place in Arlington, Texas. During the latest episode of Heavy Muscle Radio, Aceto gave his two cents on the progress that Jacked has made since the 2023 Arnold Classic.

The host of the podcast, bodybuilding veteran Dave Palumbo, pointed out during the video that while Jacked has been working in silence, he does look like he has gained a ton of muscle. Revealing the actual truth behind this, Aceto stated:

“I think he’s five pounds bigger…I guess that’s right one of those physiques where we say like God, if this guy could put on five pounds, how much would it look like on his frame…it’s the frame.”

“It’s just like five pounds, that’s it.”

Looking to move ahead in the sport, one can only guess how Andrew Jacked is going to perform against fellow threats like Carlos Thomas Jr. and Hunter Labrada but his physique is definitely looking next-level days out from the show.
