The competition is heating up for the upcoming 2022 Mr. Olympia, scheduled for Dec. 15-18 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. From two-time reigning champion Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay to rising prospect Andrew Jacked, there are many bodybuilders fans have their eyes on. In a recent video uploaded on YouTube, bodybuilding veterans and gurus Lee Priest, Milos Sarcev, Chris Cormier, George Farah, Chad Nicholls, and Dennis James predicted the top six finishers at 2022 Olympia.

‘Big Ramy’ will go into this show looking to retain his title and win a third Sandow trophy. The mass monster is a favorite to take the top prize home again. However, many people got concerned about his dedication to the sport after he was absent for his guest posing appearance at the Pittsburgh Pro in May.

He later issued an apology to Jim Manion and the IFBB Pro League for not attending and shared that he couldn’t fly. Ramy looked gigantic and well-conditioned in a physique update shared by his coach Chad Nicholls just nine weeks out from the show.

Last month, seasoned bodybuilding coach Milos Sarcev backed Andrew Jacked to make waves in the Men’s Open division at this year’s Olympia contest. He believes there’s nothing Jacked is missing and sees him as an ‘immediate’ contender for the title. Considering how much talent is present in the Open class, Sarcev admitted that he expects a lot of close comparisons.

Former 212 competitor Hadi Choopan is another front-runner for Olympia. He boasts an amazing physique and has always placed in the top four in his three Olympia appearances. Choopan brings an insane level of conditioning but struggles to match the qualities of other standouts like Brandon Curry and Big Ramy.

Choopan has been accused of using Synthol despite there being no evidence. Fans were taken aback by his shoulders which led people to speculate if he was using site enhancement oils. Just in case, bodybuilding veteran Chris Cormier advised him not put substances in his shoulders and to fix the issue before the show.

Ronnie Coleman has also given his predictions for the Men’s Open division at 2022 Mr. Olympia. He is so confident in Big Ramy ahead of the show, he already congratulated the reigning champion on his future victory. However, Ronnie did specify that he believes reigning 212 Olympia winner Derek Lunsford and Nick Walker to be wild cards.

Priest had previously predicted Big Ramy to get his third win at 2022 Mr. Olympia. According to the veteran, Ramy is ahead of the competition and can easily place first if he comes at his best.

He acknowledged that some talent might be able to beat Ramy in terms of conditioning but argued no one can battle him in terms of size. One thing is apparent with all of their prediction lists: they all envision two-time reigning Mr. Olympia Big Ramy retaining his title later this year.
