Bostin Loyd’s friend Cody Lewis organized a GoFundMe campaign to help Loyd’s funeral. Bodybuilder and personal trainer Bostin Loyd tragically passed away on February 25th, 2022. He was 29 years old. Loyd is survived by his wife Ariella Giavanna Palumbo, 3-year-old son Jaxtin Loyd, his father Jon Loyd, and mother Marie Raia.

RxMuscle posted the details of GoFundMe for Bostin Loyd’s funeral on his Instagram account. Bostin Loyd was against the idea of raising money through GoFundMe. However, the Instagram post claimed that David Palumbo ensured Bostin Loyd’s wife Ariella’s approval to share the campaign. Courtesy of RxMuscle’s Instagram account, you can see the post here:

“Please donate to help fund Bostin Loyd’s funeral. Dave has approval from Ariella (Bostin’s wife) to share this GoFundMe campaign,” the caption to the post read.

Bostin Loyd was suffering from stage 5 kidney failure and he was waiting for a potential transplant. As we reported previously, Loyd passed out after returning home from the gym. Paramedics arrived at the scene and performed CPR until he was declared dead in the hospital. Nick Trigili of the YouTube channel Bodybuilding and B**S stated that a heart attack could be a cause of Bostin Loyd’s death.

About Bostin Loyd

Bostin Loyd tasted success in competitive bodybuilding at only 21 years of age when he won the NPC Contra Costa in Hollywood, California. However, he made headlines with a first place finish in the super heavyweight division at the 2015 Montanari Bros Powerhouse Classic. He last competed at the 2016 NPC Kevin Gore Border Klash and secured the first place in the super heavyweight division once again.

Pre Hgh/insulin/steroid abuse LOL seeing me having a flat stomach like this just shows me how badly I fucked my physique…

The late bodybuilder openly supported steroid use and claimed to be the first prominent name in the sport to share his complete steroid cycle with public. Despite harsh criticism, Loyd continued to experiment with steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs during the prep as well as off-season training.

During his visit to the RxMuscle podcast in 2021, Bostin Loyd revealed that he had stage 5 kidney failure. He also believed that it was the result of putting several foreign substances into his body. Loyd did extensive research on restoring kidney function and also underwent several treatments to treat the condition. In a recent Facebook post, Bostin Loyd stated that he had exceeded doctors’ expectations and was doing well. In spite of everything that he had to go through, the late bodybuilder did not regret his decision to use steroids.

There have been a high number of deaths in the bodybuilding industry in recent times. Considering a framework to ensure athlete safety and testing policy seems increasingly necessary. Olympia is already contemplating to demand doctors’ clearance from competing athletes. However, a full-proof solution is not in the sight as of now. FitnessVolt hopes the entire bodybuilding community to go in that direction.

The roids have cut short so many lives but being vain and trying to impress is a serious mental disorder that affects so too many.

These people shoot drugs into their bodies everyone sobs and calls them unfortunate athlete, A heroin addict shoots drugs and everyone shames them and kicks them to the street! What a world we live in!? It’s a shame for this guy and all but he knew what he was getting into, he did it to himself, and like all bodybuilders was a superficial narcissist, a very strange but they are and hardly athletes.

It’s sad they know the risks involved but it gives the wrong message to our young people it’s ok to inject yourself with foreign objects as long as you’re living your dream? What about the loved ones they left behind? Brother sister parents etc

Very sad for his family and everyone that knew him, now since this almost happened to a close friend of mines this has nothing to do with the vaccine right? Because my friend in his 30s healthy as an ox almost died from a heart attack but none wants to talk about that he got the COVID shot before that happened

Sorry for his passing. Condolences to his family.
Now for reality. He openly used steroids which are very expensive. He won many major competitions. Good bonus.
He knowingly involved in a habit which is illegal and can destroy the sport and ones body and their family. Now he is dead. And now his girlfriend is asking for money for his funeral. Okkkkkkkk. Let me think about this one.

It’s unfortunate but we take our destiny in our own hands we know the consequences of our actions yet we still do what we do and love every min of it

Sad. 🙏 R.I.P. Bostin and prayers to the family. If there’s something good that can come off this let it be a cautionary tale to any youth or ANYONE regarding using sh!t in moderation and smartly…..I speculate if it was the slew of peptides he was using, they’re so unregulated and under researched in regards to humans. Stick to the tried and true, the stuff we’ve been using for decades,be careful with all this new Frankenstein stuff floating around…

It costs thousands of dollars to maintain the steroid cycles. After spending thousands of dollars a month on harmful chemicals, now you have a GoFundMe so the public can bury you? I think I’ll start my unnecessary GoFundMe page!

At first blush I was completely sympathetic having kidney failure but, knowing my friend on the football team who had organ failure after graduation, I grew suspicious ! Upon reading he opted for steroids, it’s like smoking, we know they are deleterious so I have nothing but harsh criticism for him as he would be alive today if he wasn’t so Stupid !!! What a life wasted and a child left behind…

It was a combination of roid use and COVID 💉.

Foreign objects are just not good for the body, period.

Yes I agree with so many comments on here.
Steroids takes over & you by pay the sacrifice simple as that. It’s great to dream you are Mr universe and some are lucky more than others but keep abusing then it’s goodbye. The world is a fckd up place right now and more young people are paying for it.

    To Bill a Bong

He had a drug addiction. Bostin was a kind loving person. There were other factors you’re not privy to.
I’m a Nurse and knew this young man. So to be so all knowing and think you got the formula down shows lack of depth and insight.
