Among the top powerlifters in the USAPL federation is Ashton Rouska, who aims to continue dominating his rivals this year. He is currently preparing for the 2022 USAPL Mega Nationals, which will take place from June 7-12, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ashton has only a couple more heavy training sessions until he reaches peak condition. On May 20, 2022, Ashton uploaded a video of his most recent raw training session that featured some impressive lifts.

Ashton Rouska started off with a massive squat PR of 827 pounds (375 kilograms), which is also an Unofficial USAPL Record in the 105-kilogram weight class. He has beaten his own record of 815.7 pounds (370 kilograms) from the 2022 USAPL Arnold A7 Grand Prix.

Ashton Rouska followed up the incredible squat performance with a 475-pound (215.5-kilogram) bench press. This lift is 12.1 pounds (5.5 kilograms) heavier than his current competition PR, which he set at the 2021 USAPL Virginia Pro.

To finish off his SBD session, Ashton Rouska deadlifted 840 pounds (381 kilograms), which is 4.3 pounds (2 kilograms) lighter than his competition PR. With this pull, Ashton’s Total came out to 2142 pounds (971.5 kilograms). This is also a U105KG Unofficial USAPL Record, as it is 36.6 pounds (16.5 kilograms) heavier than what Ashton set at the 2022 USAPL Arnold A7 Grand Prix.

Ashton Rouska’s full training session:

  • Squat: 827 pounds (375 kilograms) PR & U105KG Unofficial Raw USAPL Record
  • Bench Press: 475 pounds (315.5 kilograms)
