So, Amanda was happy to share the amazing feat on her Instagram.
Amanda Lawrence is an 84-kilogram powerlifter, and her recent squat of 255 kilograms (562.2 pounds) is an unofficial IPF World Record for her weight class. The current official record stands at 243.5 kilograms (536.8 pounds), as Amanda set it at the 2021 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships. The fact that Amanda can now lift 11.5 kilograms (25.4 pounds) more than the record proves just how much progress she has made.
Amanda Lawrence’s raw lift was completed with a lifting belt, knee sleeves, and wrist wraps, proves how strong she really is. So, with less than two weeks until her next competition, Amanda already seems to be both mentally and physically prepared to battle for the title.
