While the sport of Strongwoman appears to be at its peak at present, it is important to recognize the amount of effort that some athletes have put into bringing it to where it is today. One of the most important names is Donna Moore, who has been competing professionally for almost a decade now. Despite this, she continues to improve her abilities and achieve incredible results. So, on the final day of the year 2022, Donna landed a brand new deadlift PR of 260 kilograms (573.2-lb) and is now heading into a new year stronger than ever.

In addition to her impressive strength, Donna is also known for her infectious enthusiasm and positive attitude. After successfully completing her lift, she couldn’t help but bust out some celebratory dance moves, bringing joy and excitement to those around her. In order to complete the lift, Donna used a conventional stance, as sumo deadlifts are not permitted in Strongwoman competitions. The new PR also involved the use of various pieces of equipment, including a deadlift suit, lifting straps, and a lifting belt.

“Heading into 2023 with a new deadlift PR of 260kg. Slow but moving.
I’m not the greatest deadlifter but that’s ok. It’s getting better. There is always progress to be made. I’m celebrating my own personal win here today 🥳”

While deadlifting has never been Donna Moore’s greatest event, she is slowly moving up the ranks and has become one of the few individuals capable of pulling weights that are mind-blowing. Considering that in Strongwoman competitions, deadlifts are almost always a part of the match, this is a great advantage for her.

Speaking of competitions, Donna Moore has taken part in 15 International and National events, coming out victorious in 7 of them. Furthermore, Donna has been crowned the World’s Strongest Woman three times during her career. As of this year, Donna dropped down to the 82-kilogram weight class, having lost 30 kilograms (66.1 pounds) of bodyweight.
