The 2022 CrossFit Semifinals are set to take place in a format of 10 in-person competitions from May 20 – to June 12, 2022. CrossFit has partnered with organizers across six continents to make the ultimate qualifying stage unforgettable. Recently the team lineups, individual lineups, and two of six events have been revealed, so everything is set for Semifinals to begin. The good news is that everyone will be able to enjoy each one of these 10 contests from the comfort of their home.

Athletes completed both the 2022 CrossFit Open and 2022 CrossFit Quarterfinals through an online format, so it is exciting news that the 2022 CrossFit Semifinals will be a head-to-head competition as well. So the options will be either watching the show in-person or through a Livestream. CrossFit will organize Livestream for seven out of ten competitions on the CrossFit website and in the CrossFit Games app.

Three contests will not be broadcasted on the behalf of CrossFit, but the organizers of those events will Livestream them from their own websites.

2022 Crossfit Semifinals Schedule

The last stage of qualifying will be taking place over four consecutive weekends. Only the 40 of the best will get the chance to compete in the 2022 CrossFit Games, which are set to take place from August 3-7 in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. However, after the 2022 CrossFit Semifinals are finished only 38 athletes will be qualified for the CrossFit Games. CrossFit decided to leave two spots available as the last possibility to qualify.

The ‘Last Chance Qualifiers’ will take place from June 29 – to July 1, 2022, in an online format. Thirty athletes (three from each semifinal) will attempt to secure their place in the Games by beating the rest of the field.

The 2022 CrossFit Semifinals are bound to be very exciting, as only a handful of competitors can directly qualify from them. It’s been a long time since the athletes competed with each other in a head-to-head competition. So that will be much more interesting to follow, as opposed to the online video submissions. Tia-Clair Toomey and Justin Medeiros won the competition last year, and they will hope to hold on to the title of World’s Fittest.
