2022 Arnold Classic will pit an insane group of Men’s Open competitors against each other to crown a champion. Size, symmetry, and conditioning will all play a vital role for each bodybuilder as they take the stage in hopes of securing first place.
As the most popular division in bodybuilding, fans are eager to see these mass monsters on stage. 2021 champ Nick Walker opted not to compete at the Arnold this year to improve his physique for Olympia.
Hailed as an early favorite, 2019 Mr. Olympia and 2019 Arnold Classic champ Brandon Curry has looked phenomenal in the leadup to the event. Following back-to-back runner-up appearances at Olympia the last two years, Brandon is coming into this show with a chip on his shoulder.
Up and coming talent will also be looking to make waves at this weekend’s show. Brett Wilkin and Regan Grimes are two names that many have their eyes on given their respective physiques. Wilkin has put on a significant amount of muscle mass in the past few years and has a build that could give the other top bodybuilders trouble on stage.
There is no shortage of elite athletes at this show. Recently, 2020 Arnold champion William Bonac has voiced his desire to defeat Curry and admits he’s bringing his most complete package to the stage at the 2022 Arnold Classic. Despite a number of bodybuilders bowing out due to health/injuries, this lineup is still one of the most stacked in Arnold Classic history.
This year’s Open Men’s lineup has been insanely competitive. There were five call outs, and the final included Justin Rodriguez, William Bonac, Brandon Curry, and Steve Kuclo. Tomorrow, the finals will crown a Men’s Open champion from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
