2023 Siberian Power Show Strongman Results — Dmitrii Skosyrskii Claims Gold

The 2023 Siberian Power Show also saw an appearance of Peiman Maheripourehir, one of the greatest deadlifters in the world.

The past weekend has been a blast for all Strongman fans, as multiple elite competitions took place around the world. One of those was the 2023 Siberian Power Show, which was held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. It gathered 11 athletes in total, with some traveling from the USA, France, and Iran. However, a Russian representative still came out victorious, as Dmitrii Skosyrskii collected significantly more points than any other participant.

With the competition spanning over two days and consisting of six events, it displayed a number of impressive performances. However, the most consistent athlete was definitely Dmitrii Skosyrskii, racking up 58 points out of the possible 66.

The battle for second place was extremely close between David Shamey and Peiman Maheripourehir. However, due to his clutch performances on day two, David claimed the silver medal, leaving bronze for Peiman.

Max Deadlift

The first event of the 2023 Siberian Power Show was the deadlift for max weight, which was perfect for Peiman Maheripourehir, who locked out 435 kilograms. This was enough for him to claim max points, but everyone is aware that Peiman is capable of locking out even heavier weights.

Frame Carry

The second event of the competition tasked the participants with carrying a 408-kilogram frame for a set distance. The quickest to do so was once again Peiman Maheripourehir, completing the event faster than the second placed Dmitrii Skosyrskii. Peiman’s exact time is not available, but he has won the event.

Loading Race

The Loading Race wrapped up day one of the 2023 Siberian Power Show, tasking the athletes with picking up and loading three progressively heavier sacks. They weighed 120, 150, and 180 kilograms, and the goal was to complete them as fast as possible.

This was the first event in this competition that wasn’t won by Peiman Maheripourehir, instead, David Shamey came out victorious. His exact time is not available, but he was faster than the second-place Peiman.

Hercules Hold

The Hercules Hold opened up day two of the 2023 Siberian Power Show and brought some drastic changes in the leaderboards. Dmitrii Skosyrskii turned out to have the strongest grip, holding the two pillars for over 40 seconds. No one else managed to cross this milestone, but Vladimir Bulgakov came closest with a hold of 39.25 seconds.

Cyr Dumbbell

Another event which rattled up the standings was the Cyr Dumbbell, as five of the athletes failed to complete even a single rep. The goal was to lift three dumbbells weighing 110, 130, and 146 kilograms.

Dmitrii Skosyrskii and David Shamey were the only two athletes who managed to lift the second dumbbell, thus tying for first place. The results of other competitors are not available, except for those who did not complete any reps.

Atlas Stone

The 2023 Siberian Power Show featured the Atlas Stones, but not in their usual format. This time, the person who managed to lift the heaviest Atlas Stone.

Reza Gheitasi lifted up a humongous 250-kilogram stone to wrap up an incredible Strongman weekend in Russia, winning the final event of the show. Peiman fell short of first place with a stone of 236 kilograms, while Skosyrskii and Le Jeune tied for third.

The 2023 Siberian Power Show also featured other sports like bodybuilding and powerlifting, but they seemed overshadowed by the Strongman’s excellence. Even though the roster was strong, there was only one man who stole the show. Dmitrii Skosyrskii outperformed some massive names like Peiman Maheripourehir, proving that he is one of the strongest in the world.
