The Wellness division took over The Lone Star State on the first weekend of April (April 1, 2023). A number of competitors gathered in Houston, Texas to determine who would walk away with gold at the 2023 Houston Tournament of Champions Pro. This show is a 2023 Olympia qualifier for the Wellness category.
There were seven athletes eager to cement themselves as the best with hopes of bringing their best packages possible. Whoever claims the title this weekend, will be guaranteed their spot on the prestigious Olympia stage. The annual Mr. Olympia Weekend will take place this November from November 2-5, in Orange Country, Florida.
At the latest Olympia competition, which took place last December, Francielle Mattos made history by winning her second Wellness Olympia title. Therefore, the competitor to emerge victorious this weekend will have a shot at taking down Mattos. Fans got behind a few bodybuilders quickly this weekend, like Amanda Burnett, 2023 Sampson Showdown runner-up Haley Johnson, and Jennifer Zollars.
