The Men’s Physique action kicked off March 4, in Columbus, Ohio at the 35th annual Arnold Classic. Erin Banks and Diogo Montenegro are leading following the prejudging rounds.
Men’s Physique has quickly become one of the most popular divisions in the IFBB Pro League. Prejudging took place Saturday, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. with finals happening from 7 P.M. to 10 P.M. EST. Known for having the best beach bodies, fans are quickly getting behind the Men’s Physique division.
Ahead of the show, the talk of the town was Erin Banks. He registered an incredible season last year. He dominated three shows in a row, winning first place at the 2022 Arnold Classic, Boston Pro, and later claimed victory at Olympia after dethroning the former three-time champion Brandon Hendrickson. Fans also expected solid performances from Diogo Montenegro, Carlos DeOliveira, and Emanuel Hunter.
During prejudging, Erin Banks put on a masterclass in stage presence. He presented an extremely conditioned package with notable striations in his chest and shoulders. He faced Diogo Montenegro, who also brought an improved look to the stage. Before concluding the round, head judge Steve Weinberger acknowledged the competition was close heading into the finals.
